To university students and students of college of higher education, ŠA offers a sophisticated system of cooperation during their studies – the main elements are internships, where each intern works on his own project. This ensures the expertise of his internship and is led by a patron from among the company's employees.
The aim of the internship is for students to verify the theoretical knowledge gained during their studies in a real company environment and prepare for future occupations. The internship can be performed in all areas of logistics, including Green Logistics Škoda Auto.
In Škoda Auto we allow students 2 types of internship, mandatory and optional.
The mandatory internship is determined by the statutes of the university (deadline, duration, etc.). The student is up to full-time, i.e. 7.5 hours x number of working days per month.
An optional internship is a voluntary activity of the student, i.e. it is not prescribed by the statutes of the school. The maximum monthly limit is 3.75 hours x number of working days per month (so-called part-time), about 80 hours per month. Weekend work is possible after approval by the internship manager.
